This is the worst service in the world and it has been steadily declining at this particular Rosenberg store. Today at around 4:15pm, I approach a group of 4, count them 4, Lowe's employees obviously having a pow pow of some sort and simply just loitering (you pay these people for that?), and only got a head shake as a response when asking about insulation for our pipes. My wife has to speak Spanish to them because we're under the impression that none of them speak English when we are directly making eye contact and asking a very simple question. And then they cackle because the older man that I thought would've had some wisdom, a Latino male about late 40's, 5'6", with salt-and-pepper hair decides to be a condescending and appallingly rude person to my wife and smirk, roll his eyes and tell us where the toilet accessories are, with the rudest tone I've ever encountered as if I am supposed to know where everything is (and did not show us where it was-which is protocol at Lowe's last time I checked; after all, they were speaking to my wife, a former employee of this actual location). (They were in front of the tools section, caddy corner to the plumbing aisle -see for yourself on the cameras). And they cackle some more, like little lackeys as we walk away, desperate to get back to their lounging and making fun of how stupid customers are, I'm sure (when the older male could have actually been an example and done the right thing, as opposed to clearly flirting with the younger female employee).

SOMEONE could have done the right thing, or diffused the situation and just simply walked us to the item.

I think ALL customers should be treated like SECRET SHOPPERS.

I guess I will have to drive further to Home Depot off 762, but at least I won't get laughed at and insulted, while hearing the MOD get paged 3-4 times in a matter of 5 minutes.

This incident would be a great morning meeting topic for HR to bring up, don't you think?

Because you never know WHO is walking thru those doors.

And that unknowing, will be a core and fundamental aspect of business now, or one thousand years from now.

At least if Lowe's adapts enough to last that long.
