    Got hood repainted. (The hood corroded for some reason while the rest of the paint remains OK after 11 years - is a puzzlement.) Color was matched perfectly, all the people I dealt with were professional, and everything was done when they said it would be.

    I only wish they'd gone over the entire checklist when I picked it up - I was warned how long before I could put it through the car wash, but didn't realize until I read the list a few days later that I should have tried to keep it out of the sun, among other things.

    Oh well - I should have read the list immediately, and there isn't much I can do to keep the car out of the sun except leave it at home anyway.
